|Winter Variations - Andreja Andric|
Music for three exhibitions of Europism (a mock- avantgarde movement invented by Dimitrije Tadic and Maja Josifovic) in Belgrade in 2001. Each variation uses a different sound feature (sine waves, overtones, mixtures, noises, vibratos, envelope changes, pulsations). All are based on interwoven circles of pure fifths.

An audiovisual hypermedia-based work that attempts to "open new avenues into silence" (runme.org). During most of history the loudest sounds we knew were thunder and church bell. Music used to be rare, and sounds of musical instruments used to be refreshing and exciting. Today we are overcrowded with sounds: music in supermarkets, bars, and in our earphones; traffic sounds in the street, advertising, movies, TV, radio, internet.....

|Intro and Dream - Andreja Andric|
"Dream" combines generative music and improvisation. Intro for piano features isolated sounds that, after briefly relating to each other, dissolve into silence. Intro was recorded by Anita Tomasevich in 1992. Dream was recorded live in a concert in Academy 28 Theater in Belgrade, November 1993, by Tamara Vucic (flute), Anita Tomasevich (prepared piano), and Andreja Andric (guitar). |Waves and Waterfall-Study - Andreja Andric|
The Waterfall Study for piano or piano emulation, composed in 2001, features a rhythmical interplay of many repeated phrases that blend together into a rich, waterfall-like soundscape on a single chord. See notes below for the piano emulation details. "Waves" from 1991 was based on a similar idea, however results in darker, sparser, more bell-like sound. Waves were recorded by Ana Zorana Brajovic on Boesendorfer grand piano in the Belgrade Music Academy Studio in 1992.

For pitch altered electric guitar. The electric guitar part is improvised throughout. Its sound is processed in real time with a custom built software that, just by varying the sample rate, imprints melody, rhythm and form into the ongoing improvisation.
